Lucan Historical Walking Tour:

Esker Hill – Ivy Removal

In November 2011, Lucan Tidy Towns undertook the task to remove the major growth of ivy on Esker Hill. There was a great turnout of volunteers, a strimmer was used to take the major growth off. Safety issues were addressed with the use of cones to alert traffic. We think the photos speak for themselves ! Well done everyone on a great days work!
